The recall affects nearly 300 coffee products, including popular brands such as Tim Hortons, Starbucks, and Maxwell House. The CFIA has advised individuals who have consumed the affected products to monitor for symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. In severe cases, the toxin can cause kidney failure and even death.
